Our mission is to enhance maternal wellness by facilitating community and education for families.
What is maternal wellness?
Maternal wellness goes beyond physical health—it’s about ensuring mothers have the support, resources, and balance needed to thrive in every aspect of life.
Wellness is:
Physical Health – Access to prenatal/postnatal care, nutrition, movement, and rest.
Mental & Emotional Well-being – Support for postpartum mental health, stress management, and self-care.
Community & Social Support – Strong connections, support groups, and relationships that reduce isolation.
Financial & Economic Stability – Access to resources, job security, and financial education.
Environmental & Lifestyle Wellness – Safe living conditions, access to nature, and a balanced daily routine.
Educational & Personal Growth – Ongoing learning, birth education, and opportunities for self-development.
A mother’s well-being directly influences her ability to parent with confidence, patience, and joy. When she thrives, her children thrive, and the entire family unit becomes stronger, more resilient, and more connected.
“I joined support group when my daughter was only a few weeks old. It was so nice to be around other moms and supportive people! We had weight gain struggles in the beginning, so having extra weight checks helped to calm my worries. I love just sitting and chatting and watching how others interact with their babies. It’s so nice to hear about what is working and what isn’t for people. I also loved getting out and walking when the weather was good! I look forward to going to group any time I am able! Coming back over winter break was like a breath of fresh air and felt like we never left.”
