Growing families today face alarming rates of poor birth & postpartum outcomes, mental health conditions, and social isolation.

Our mission is to facilitate a community hub, provide access to quality care and education, and to reduce the cost barrier for care in Elkhart and surrounding counties to improve birth and postpartum outcomes, mental health, and family wellness.

The health crises facing birthing families in Elkhart county require action now.

Indiana ranks #3 in the Country for Maternal Morbidity, and local rates are even more alarming. Nest & Grow Co. is determined to improve these outcomes one family at a time.

  • Education

    Knowledge is power! We offer workshops and classes to help empower parents to feel informed and confident through their childbearing years. From birth to starting solids, we are here to help you fill in the gaps.

  • Community

    We work hard to meet the needs of local parents by offering support groups that cater to the diverse needs in our community. Through these support groups and other events, we work to cultivate a community that combats the isolation that can come with parenthood.

  • Support

    We are working to fill our community center with providers that offer perinatal and family wellness services. Creating this collective space helps us build community and increase access to care.

  • Scholarships

    In 2024, it is our mission to provide scholarships for essential services to families in need. This is how we will achieve our goal of reducing the rates maternal and infant mortality and perinatal mental health conditions in our local community.

  • Birth Worker Enrichment

    Our area is lucky to have a network of fantastic birth workers. By supporting them with workshops, networking events, and social gatherings, we can show support for the work that they do and magnify their impact in the community.

Introducing: The Nest Community Center

“I found the mom support group at the perfect time in my postpartum journey. I had found out through word of mouth when my son was about 6 months old after searching for months for a place I so desperately needed. We live far away from any family or friends so it was a very lonely time for me as a brand new mom. I am so thankful to Emily and Jayde for creating a safe, welcoming, educational, and fun environment for not only myself, but my son. Through talking with other women at the group, I have been able to share the highs and lows in the journey of motherhood. We always look forward to our "play group" time!” -SR

Ready to get involved?

Our top priority is to establish The Nest: Community Center for Birth & Family Services as this is the foundation of our work. At this time, all financial contributions will be allocated toward this effort.
